Drew Ballesteros serves as Deputy Executive Director of Majority Money. Drew previously served as a Strategy Director with Majority Strategies.
Prior to his experience with Majority Strategies, Drew served as a Regional Field Director for the Republican Party of Virginia.
Drew is a Columbus, Georgia, native who is no stranger to politics. In addition to working for the Republican Party of Virginia, Drew acted as the National Finance Associate for Dr. Ben Carson’s Presidential Campaign in 2016.
Drew now lives in Jacksonville, Florida, where he enjoys watching his favorite show, Everybody Loves Raymond, and catching the latest NASCAR race.
Drew Ballesteros: Up Close and Personal
Majority Money(MM): Tell us about your family.
Drew Ballesteros (DB): The majority of my family lives in the same city … within about a 5 mile radius. I’m the only male grandchild and the only son out of two children, so that has its perks! But we are all very close and love spending time with each other either out on the lake or at my grandparent’s house.
MM: Any pets?
DB: I don’t have any pets at the moment, but I grew up with two dogs and hope to have a dog (a French Bulldog) in the future.
MM: App you can’t live without?
DB: 100% — Twitter. It’s the one app where I can keep up with Nascar and politics at the same time.
MM: What time of day are you most productive?
DB: Productivity comes in waves … after a cup or two of coffee in the morning, I’m knocking things out. Then it slows down just a bit until after lunch when I’m really moving with speed through the afternoon and evening.
MM: Favorite live event you attended?
DB: I went to the 2014 Daytona 500 with my mom. Dale Earnhardt Jr. scored the win and I thought the fans were going to tear the grandstands down out of sheer excitement given he was the favorite. This was after we had to hide in a storage container at the track while tornadoes and thunderstorms moved through and delayed the for race 6 hours.
MM: Favorite meal on the road?
DB: If there’s no Chick Fil A nearby, I lower my standards pretty drastically and settle for 2 chicken snack wraps from McDonald’s. I’m not proud of it.
MM: What’s your Favorite Majority Money solution and why?
DB: I’m a big fan of Direct-Mail. It’s physical, eye-catching and with 98% of people opening their mail, it’s almost guaranteed to be seen by those you’re sending to.
