Meet Mike McMacken, Online Fundraising Project Manager

Majority Money is excited to welcome Michael McMacken as our Online Fundraising Project Manager. Mike is a Mile High City native of Denver, Colorado. Bringing with him an extensive history working with non-profit organizations and statewide campaigns, Mike works to provide winning solutions for our clients.


A Bit About Mike

Majority Money: What’s the toughest lesson you’ve learned?

Mike: That somethings just don’t work out, no matter how much effort you put into them.

 

MM: App or website you can’t live without?

Mike: Reddit! Reddit is the genesis and home of everything up and coming and trending on the internet. Any topic that your interested in or want to learn about you can find on Reddit One of my favorite sayings is, “There is a subreddit for that!”

 

MM: Favorite eats from your home state?

Mike: Coming from Colorado we are in a perpetual battle with New Mexico in who has the best green chili, and I am here to settle the battle, Colorado has the best Mexican food AND green chili.

 

MM: What’s the last book you read?

Mike: 12 Rules for Life, and Antidote to Chaos by Dr. Jordan Peterson

: Where do you get your news?

Mike: Haha … Reddit and a nice variety of news outlets across the whole gambit; left, center and right.

: What was the last book you read?

Mike: “Why Nations Fail” by Daron Acemoglu and James Robinson.

MM: Where do you get your news?

Mike: From Twitter and many different sources. I follow most media outlets and read everything I can.

: What time of day are you most productive?

Mike: Really early in the morning when I feel I have a head start on everyone just waking up!

MM: Why Majority Money?

Mike: I have a passion for getting the right people elected. Since college, I have heard my friends and family complain about what is wrong in our country and I just got tired of hearing the complaints and decided to get involved to get the RIGHT people elected.

MM: What’s your favorite thing about where you live?

Mike: I love the attitude of the Colorado Rockies, from the friendliness to the “It will get done when its done” mentality…makes for great fun when running against deadlines!

: What’s on top of your bucket list?

Mike: To go see and touch the 7 wonders of the world.

MM: What would you most like to learn how to do?

Mike: I signed up for flight lessons for this summer, always wanted to do a barrel roll!

MM: What motivates you?

Mike: The drive to leave this world better than when I was born!

 

MM: How many pets do you have? If you have more than one, which one is the most memorable?

Mike: If more than one, which one is the most memorable? – My English Bulldog Malley. I found here when she was 6 weeks old in the middle of winter in Colorado, tried finding her own and waited for them to put up signs to no avail, she has been the best dog I have ever own and I tell people she found me!
